Male Grooming Tips- 5 problems fixed..

You've got to love Arg and Mario from TOWIE!

Arg, Mario, Mick and Diags were talking about male grooming, and Arg and Mario divulged a little about their grooming secrets.

So if like Mario Falcone, you think Bronzer helps a shiny face (wrong) and Arg who thinks that concealor will help puffy bags (not quite) then here are TGC's male grooming tips that are totally undetectable and natural.

We've compiled a list of problems and a quick solution that will un-noticeable on your skin!

Puffy Eyes

Are you suffering from bulging eye bags? An old backstage secret is Haemorrhoid cream. A bit cringey to buy but it works! Pat a small amount to the bulge under your eyes and they will be gone in an instant.

Eyebrows

Tidy brows that don't resemble a large furry animal and don't look too feminine can really boost your A-game. Make sure you get rid of any hair in the centre of your brows so you don't get the unibrow look! Threading is the quickest method and lasts the longest. Threading uses twisted string to quickly pull out the hair from the root and only takes a few minutes. It's a little painful but you guys can handle it right?!

Just get them tidied up, to avoid feminine looking brows!

Less Geordie Shore..More Brad Pitt, natural and tidy.. mmmmm

Shiny skin

Lads, if you’re using the same moisturiser as you use on your body on your face then you'll definitely be shiny! Here's why - the skin on your face is much thinner than the skin on your body, so moisturising body cream is going to be too thick for your face. Invest in a good men’s facial moisturiser. If you're still shiny, use blotting papers to remove unwanted shine. Blotting papers are tiny sheets that you smooth over your face to remove grease and shine. Pick some up next time you top up your toiletries from Boots or Superdrug.

Ingrown hairs

These can cause unwanted spots that take ages to heal. This is because shaving against the grain can cause the hairs to become trapped under the skin. To avoid this use an exfoliator regularly. Use before shaving to remove dead skin cells for a cleaner shave and again 2 days after shaving to stop potentially ingrown hairs. This isn't only good for ingrown hairs, but also great for your skin. Exfoliating regularly (every 2-3 days) will promote healthier skin. Leave it in your shower to remind you!

Also try and not shave too often, frequent shaving can also cause more spots and ingrown hairs. Plus I think I can speak for most women when I say that stubble is sexy.

Dry lips

Not only can it feel sore but can also be a real turn off! To remove and dry flaky skin, put a little Vaseline on your lips and using a toothbrush removing the dead skin. A good lip balm will also provide instant relief from dry lips. Vaseline can be used once the lips feel smoother and less dry, its a natural emollient which means that it provides an invisible protective layer stopping moisture from getting out.
